(formerly known as Krass Monroe, P.A.), Court‘s litigation practice focuses on business, employment, real estate, intellectual property, and trust and estate disputes.
“Ben is a skilled litigator who brings significant experience and depth to our already strong team,” says Jack Harper, head of the firm’s Business Litigation Team. “He has represented clients and handled a broad range of business related disputes and has been successful in litigating cases in the state, federal and appellate courts. Court is admitted to practice law in all Minnesota state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the districts of Minnesota and Western and Eastern Wisconsin, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the seventh and eight circuits, and the U.S. Tax Court. He also appears before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in Washington, D.C.

(May 27, 2010) – Twin Cities Cardozo Society Programming Committee Co-Chairs Josh Hasko, a shareholder with Messerli & Kramer, and Rhona Shwaid, a senior associate at Fredrikson & Byron, have collaborated with the Jewish Historical Society of the Upper Midwest (JHSUM) to present Personal Perspectives of the Twin Cities Jewish Lawyer Experience in the Last Half Century.
Helen Rubenstein, former Minnesota Assistant Attorney General and current staff attorney with the Public Health Law Center at William Mitchell College of Law, will moderate a panel of the Honorable Roberta Levy, Melvin Orestein, Morris Sherman, and Kenneth Tilsen—all recognized and respected professionals within the legal field—as they share their experiences about being a Jewish lawyer in the Twin Cities.

Minneapolis, Minn. (July 29, 2009) - Messerli & Kramer P.A. attorney David Weigman has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for KIPP, a new charter school located in downtown Minneapolis, next to the Basilica of Saint Mary.
KIPP, which stands for “Knowledge is Power Program,” is one of 66 public schools in 19 states and the District of Columbia — over 16,000 students are enrolled. Most of the schools are fifth through eighth grade, but there are also several high schools, pre-kindergarten/elementary schools and one pre-K-8 school. Over 90 percent of its students either are Black or Latino, and students are accepted regardless of prior academic record, conduct or socioeconomic background.

Minneapolis, Minn. (October 7, 2008) - Messerli & Kramer P.A. attorneys Nicholas J. Eugster and Nancy A. Haas have completed the 27th Annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon held October 5, 2008.
Nick Eugster finished 95th overall with a time of 2:47:07. Nancy Haas finished just under 5:30:00. This year's marathon saw 11,000 runners; 7,966 finishers.
Nick is an associate attorney in Messerli & Kramer's Business Litigation group. When he's not running marathons, Nick focuses his practice on business litigation, contract disputes, land use disputes, condemnation, construction and mechanic's lien litigation, creditor's rights and remedies, and landlord-tenant law.

The Caring Tree is in its 16th year of collecting notebooks, pencils and other school necessities to ensure that Minnesota's K-12 students have appropriate school supplies. Funds donated to The Caring Tree's campaign help purchase fully stocked backpacks for more than the estimated 121,000 low-income, K-12 students in Minnesota communities.
